Lonnie Allen was born in Edmonton and is a proud Albertan. Lonnie holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Grant MacEwan University in Criminology. Lonnie represents clients on a variety of matters including offences such as drug trafficking, prohibited firearm possession, assaults, sexual assaults, and murder. Lonnie has received published decisions from the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench.
While completing his Juris Doctor, Lonnie gained significant criminal law experience as he was selected to the Intensive Criminal Law program and was an active volunteer with the University of Manitoba Law Center.
Most of Lonnie’s work is focused on representing people charged with serious indictable offences who are facing significant jail sentences. Lonnie’s strive for success; knowledge of the law and advocacy skills provides his clients with a cutting-edge advantage in the courtroom.
Lonnie is an active member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Criminal Trial Lawyers’ Association and the Law Society of the Northwest Territories.
