Cristian Manucci is a proud Edmontonian and Albertan. For many years Cristian played for the Edmonton Huskies Football Club and as a receiver for the University of Alberta Golden Bears. He earned his undergrad degree from the University of Alberta and spent several semesters studying in Italy and Europe. In 2007 upon return to Alberta, he financed his aspiration to obtain his law degree by working in the oil and gas industry starting as a Lease hand and working his way up to Derrick hand on drilling rigs across Western Canada. In 2010, he was accepted into the Faculty of Law at the University of New Brunswick. During law school, he received an academic award for highest standing in bankruptcy and insolvency but found himself drawn to courses focusing on the study of criminal law and the training required to become a formidable advocate. After completing Law School, Cristian returned to Alberta and articled with his brother, Simon Manucci. Upon being called to the Alberta Bar, Cristian has exclusively practiced in Criminal Defence. He has represented clients with charges ranging from shoplifting to murder. A significant portion of his practice involves firearms, drug offences, sexual offences, and impaired driving offences. In his spare time, Cristian is an avid hunter and firearm enthusiast. He is a member of the following organizations: Northern Alberta Safari Chapter, Phoenix Gun Club, Wabamun Gun Club, and the Spruce Grove Fish and Wildlife Association.
