Adam Shaben was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. He received a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Liverpool in 2019. While attending Law School he received first place in the Legal Negotiation Competition. Upon returning to Canada, Adam was certified by the Federation of Law Societies’ National Committee on Accreditation to practice law in Canada in 2020.

Adam has a focus on criminal defence, and articled under an experienced trial lawyer in Edmonton. Adam gained experience on high-level drug trafficking files, advocating for clients whose charter rights were breached at the time of arrest.

Adam has experience handling crimes of dishonesty, violent offences and drug and firearm offences across Alberta and Saskatchewan. Adam is a talented bail lawyer and has won many contested bail hearings on serious criminal matters in Provincial Court and the Court of Kings Bench across Alberta and Saskatchewan. Adam works diligently for his clients and is a passionate advocate for their rights.

Outside of work, Adam enjoys spending time with friends/family and travelling.
